Facebook Founder Announces 10 Million Dollar Grant Fund

TechCrunch 40 Here We Come!

Today, September 17, 2007, we launch the private beta of project "secret sauce" and offer a sneak peek at the new ThemBid.com design at the Tech Crunch 40. After today's demo, we will reveal what project "secret sauce" is and offer some screen shots on this blog. The new ThemBid.com design and re-launch is scheduled for release to the public on October 15, 2007.

Create A Vector Logo From A Bitmap Logo In Photoshop

As a TechCrunch20 finalist, we were required to send a vector based logo for ThemBid.com. We only had a jpeg version which we just created for use on our website. This tutorial shows you how I re-created the bitmap logo as a vector using Adobe Photoshop.

Do You Still Scan Photos With A Flatbed Scanner?

My cousin was scanning a bunch of photos into into his computer using a flatbed scanner. For each page of scanned photos, I saw that he was cropping and rotating them by hand. I showed him this easy to use automated method using Photoshop CS2. Following is a short video that shows you how to do that quickly.

Free GTD Printable Workflow

I use GTD as my methodology for productivity. I found it useful to have a simple diagram printed out on my wall to give me a quick reminder on the flow. I have shared it with a few people new to the GTD and they loved it, so I'm now sharing it with the world :) Enjoy.
