How Fast Can You Code?
June 28, 2007 – 12:57 pmSometimes it’s necessary to apply RAD at a whole new level. After an informative review of ThemBid.com by TechFold.com, our lead programmer, Isaac Saldana, implement search and RSS feeds in one day on ThemBid.com. This was made possible because of his great skill as a programmer and also because of the Symfony framework.
Do you have any RAD stories? What was it that helped you execute quickly? (besides coffee)
One Response to “How Fast Can You Code?”
hey isaldana,
i saw this article on digg by doing a search for ’symfony’… then realized that we’d spoken before about the sfPayPalPlugin.. hah
anyways, my RAD story is about a side project called “Analyst’s Edge” (just launched today). took 4 days.. to code/design (with symfony obviously!). I’m planning on implementing Zend Search Lucene within the next couple weeks.. that shouldn’t take over a couple hours, since i’ve already used it in a couple other projects. : )
what’d you use for your search functionality?
You should check out the digg article at:

Also, let me know what ya think about the site. any feedback is much appreciated.
