Some feedback from a former web designer:
The big icons (Post, Start Bid, View Feedback, etc.) are too large - save people the scrolling. Remember, people may be viewing this from their phones and PDAs, too. You’d save on bandwidth costs, too.
Take your design cues from the big dogs - eBay, Craigslist, etc. Make it simple to search.

We intentionally did not base our design on other websites like eBay, Craiglist, etc. Our focus is on our end users and how to make their experience as simple as possible.
As a result, we have found that some technically oriented people are sometimes put off by that simplicity, while the end users that we target provide rave reviews.
With that said, it is our goal to evolve on a daily basis to provide the most pleasant user experience possible for all. Therefore, we have noted your feedback and we will consider it seriously and we appreciate your feedback very much.

One other note. We will be rolling out an edition of ThemBid.com that will be specifically design for phones and PDAs.
